Be For Change - Recycled leather slippers

Be For Change - Recycled leather slippers

£95.00

These zero waste leather slippers have an espadrille bottom with breathable rope soles that are perfect for wicking moisture, a heel leather patch giving you extra comfort and a lovingly crafted woven mule upper to wrap gently around each foot. Can be worn both indoor or out depending on your mood.

Each pair salvages on average 700 square centimetres of British bovine leather from going to landfill. They are made to order in Hackney by Juta Shoes, a London social enterprise for women who face barriers to work.

Soles are traditionally made of jute and rubber by a small family factory in Spain. Sewn by hand with waxed linen thread.
