Meet the Emi Dress - sister to our Emi Top that adapts our principle of letting rich, indulgent linens do the talking. A direct response to customers looking for a neatly-fitted all-rounder that showcases our indulgent linens.

The Emi Dress brings our round neck silhouette a little higher for stability, and provides an alternative to our drop shoulder dress styles. 

The button-back construction simplifies your dressing process, whilst complimenting buttons place emphasis on the considered details that place our Emi styles apart. Neatly-fitted shoulder seams suspend the body, providing a free-moving boxy shape designed for ease of movement. 

A gently-widened sleeve aligns with the bottom hem of our Emi Top, creating a simple, well-balanced shape that frees you from restriction.

Finally, a high waist gifts plentiful gathers that suspend a midi-length skirt - complete, as always, with hidden but roomy pockets.

Previous fans of our Sleeveless styles will find some similarity in the neatly-fitted body of our Emi styles.

Emi is a beacon of thoughtful simplicity; proof that good design doesn’t need to be over-engineered.

Colourway

Our forest Waffle Gingham is an original fabric mindfully made in collaboration with UK-based haberdashery Merchant & Mills. A supersoft, comforting 100% linen with beautiful drape, and a slightly open weave for rustic texture and volume. This bottle-green and navy check draws on the rich, moody tones of tall pines and rainy days.

Care

Hand or machine wash on gentle setting using cold water. Do not tumble dry. Steam press on medium setting for a crisp finish, or hang dry and wear gently wrinkled for a lived-in look.

Manufacture
This garment will be carefully individually cut and sewn in small batches in our Oakham, Rutland design studio (England).

The best size to choose in this style depends on how much drape you prefer. Our model Lily is 5ft 3 and a natural size 8-10 / Small. She’s photographed here wearing the size Small.
